University application preparation
Oxbridge Preparation is a two-week course designed in partnership Oxford International College (OIC), the UK’s number 1 school for A-level results. This course aims to prepare students with the best possible chance of applying to one of the UK’s top universities.
Utilising OIC’s expertise from their university application success, the syllabus enables students to take their first steps towards their university applications for both the ‘Oxbridge’ colleges and other UK top 30 universities. Students will learn about the UK university application process including UCAS, write their own personal statements, prepare for university entrance exams and practice for an Oxbridge style interview. During the course, students will also have at least three supervisions with their tutor, to ensure their university application is progressing appropriately.
Students will also have the opportunity to discover what life is like at the University of Oxford staying and studying at a university college, St Edmund Hall, and enjoying a traditional Oxford-style formal dinner at the end of the course.
