Churchill College
Churchill has the largest grounds of any Cambridge University college and is one of only 2 central colleges with sports pitches in the main college site.
The college was built as a memorial to Britain’s wartime Prime Minister Sir Winston Churchill who dreamt of creating a science and technology college to rival those of the famous American universities. Even today, most Churchill undergraduates are science students.
Churchill boasts a range of modern facilities including extensive playing fields, a large theatre and cinema, a music recital room and a radio station which hosts Cambridge University Radio.
