A typical British day at the seaside and a trip to Windsor Castle

Oxford International College Brighton, Week Four

The students at Oxford International College Brighton took full advantage of the glorious weather this week with a range of engaging activities and excursions. They kicked off their adventures by heading to the seaside, where many experienced a pebble beach for the first time—a unique feature that left a lasting impression. The students enjoyed the fresh sea air and picturesque coastal views, making for a truly memorable day.

A highlight of the trip was the visit to the British Airways i360, a futuristic observation tower. As they ascended, the students were treated to breathtaking panoramic views of Brighton, the rolling countryside, and the scenic South Downs. The clear blue skies made the vistas even more spectacular, providing a perfect backdrop for photos and a deeper appreciation of the area’s natural beauty.

Afterward, one group of students ventured to Brighton Pier, a lively spot filled with classic amusements and a quintessential seaside atmosphere. They indulged in some traditional treats, played games, and soaked in the vibrant energy of the pier. Following this, they explored the city’s bustling center, where they enjoyed a bit of shopping, discovering quirky shops and boutiques that Brighton is famous for.

Back on campus, the students were equally productive. They dedicated time to completing various projects, which culminated in an exciting evening activity where they presented their work. This event showcased their creativity and hard work, offering a chance to share ideas and learn from each other in a supportive environment.

To round off the week, the students embarked on a historical journey with a visit to Windsor Castle. Here, they delved into the rich history of Britain’s monarchy, exploring the grand halls and beautiful gardens of this iconic royal residence. The trip provided valuable insights into British heritage and offered a unique educational experience outside the classroom.

Overall, it was a week brimming with exploration, learning, and cultural enrichment. The combination of outdoor adventures, academic pursuits, and historical exploration made for an unforgettable experience that the students will cherish.
