What a fun-filled and action-packed week it’s been at Bucksmore OIC Brighton! Our students have thrown themselves into every opportunity with energy, creativity, and lots of laughter.
From high-energy sports to hands-on activities, there’s been something for everyone. Our “Very British Sports Day” brought out a great sense of camaraderie, while the ever-popular water fight kept everyone cool and smiling. Students tapped into their creative sides during our “Trashion Show,” designing brilliant outfits from recycled materials, and things got wonderfully messy during our slime-making session! Multiple sports sessions also gave everyone the chance to stay active and try out new games – with some of the students even trying Rugby for the first time.
We’ve also had some brilliant excursions. A visit to the Brighton Sea Life Centre gave students a chance to explore marine wonders, while Hever Castle offered a step back in time with its stunning gardens and rich history. Our adventure into London included visits to the British Museum, Covent Garden, and the Transport Museum – offering a perfect blend of culture, learning and fun.
In class, our students have truly shone. They’ve approached every lesson with focus, curiosity and a great attitude to learning. We’ve seen wonderful progress in their language skills and fantastic teamwork during group projects.
We’re so proud of how much the students have achieved already, and we’re excited for even more unforgettable moments in the days to come!
