A Fantastic Week with Our New Students!
This past week has been full of energy, creativity, and new friendships as we welcomed a large group of new students to our programme. It’s been a real pleasure getting to know them, and we’ve been so impressed by their enthusiasm and teamwork.
Early in the week, students took part in a “Dragon’s Den”-style project. Working in teams, they came up with innovative business ideas and pitched them with confidence and creativity. It was inspiring to see how well they collaborated and how hard they worked to bring their ideas to life.
The week also included some unforgettable outings. On Wednesday, we explored the beautiful city of Oxford on a walking tour, soaking in its historic charm. Thursday was all about fun and excitement with a trip to Thorpe Park, where students enjoyed thrilling rides and a day full of laughter.
Sunday was a cultural highlight. We visited the State Rooms at Buckingham Palace, giving students a glimpse into royal life. This was followed by a walking tour of London’s most iconic sights, including Big Ben and Westminster Abbey, with some free time for shopping in Covent Garden to round off the day.
We ended the week with a unique and fantastic event: a ‘trashion’ show! Students designed and modelled outfits made entirely from recycled materials. Their creativity and confidence on the runway were truly amazing.
It’s been a week of learning, fun, and unforgettable moments—and we can’t wait to see what’s next!
