This week was filled with a mix of emotions and exciting experiences for our students. While they were sad to see some friends leave, they quickly made new connections, embracing the spirit of friendship and community.
The week began with a deep dive into the recent Bucksmore election. Students worked hard on their project presentations, discussing key issues and engaging in thoughtful debates. Their hard work paid off, and they were proud to share their insights.
Midweek, the group visited the Ashmolean Museum in Oxford. They explored a range of exhibits, from ancient Egyptian artifacts to modern art, gaining a deeper appreciation for human history and creativity.
On Thursday, the students ventured to Cambridge. Despite the overcast skies, they embraced the experience of punting along the River Cam, navigating the gentle currents and enjoying the historic surroundings. The day also included some shopping time, allowing them to explore the city’s unique boutiques and cafes.
Sunday’s itinerary featured a visit to London’s Natural History Museum. The day also included a visit to Covent Garden, known for its vibrant atmosphere and diverse shopping options.
The week culminated in a legendary karaoke night on Friday. Students showcased their talents with group dances and heartfelt performances, creating memories that will last a lifetime.
