Bucksmore Intensive English and IELTS Prep Programmes
Another week has finished, and it was full of learning and new experiences.
On Tuesday new students arrived throughout the day, kicking off a new course with lots of expectation! We played welcome games to help everyone learn names and feel comfortable. Wednesday began with placement tests in the morning and then in the afternoon we walked along the Thames. We saw Tower Bridge, the Globe Theatre and the Southbank, and students got to know each other better by sharing the same ideas about walking around the city, huh!
Thursday and Friday were packed with lessons and group projects, using all skills available at our disposal. In the evening on Friday, we went outside to play some sports, where we had a football match going on at the same time as volleyball keep-up and more. On Saturday, we travelled to Oxford, tried punting on the river and then walked through the historic colleges. Sunday started with our usual lessons, followed by a visit to the British Museum where we all tried to find different artifacts from our own home countries.
Finally, on Monday after lessons we explored the Tower of London, met the Beefeaters, heard stories about the ravens and saw the Crown Jewels.
