As our time at OIC Brighton comes to an end, we’ve had a fantastic final week full of learning, laughter, and memorable experiences.
On Wednesday, students enjoyed a half-day trip to Brighton Pier, where they had fun exploring the arcade, enjoying seaside snacks, and spending time with friends. Thursday’s outing to Windsor Castle was a great opportunity to take in some British history and explore the beautiful grounds. On Saturday, we travelled to London for a visit to the Buckingham Palace State Rooms – a special chance to experience the grandeur of the royal residence.
Back on campus, the evenings were packed with activity. Students shone in the talent show, worked together brilliantly in our team quiz night, reflected during the mind and mood session, and relaxed during movie night. Each event brought out the best in the group, and it was wonderful to see their confidence and friendships continue to grow.
In lessons and workshops, students maintained their enthusiasm and focus right through to the end. They also completed a group yearbook project. This was a creative and thoughtful way to celebrate everything they’ve shared and achieved during their time with us.
We are incredibly proud of each student for their hard work, kindness, and positivity throughout the programme. Thank you for being part of their Bucksmore journey – they’ll be taking home not only new skills, but lifelong memories.
