This week has been packed full of unforgettable moments. Kicking things off, the kids unleashed their inner artists and painted beautiful portraits, sharing lots of giggles along the way. Our visit to the Ashmolean Museum, evolved into an exciting scavenger hunt as children searched for hidden treasures. Back at camp, we made lollipop stick bridges and weight-tested them – some held up against the odds; others crumbled under pressure.
A thrilling Night at the Museum themed escape room had teams working against the clock to complete challenges and unite the missing pieces of a golden tablet – their key to getting out. The children’s Capstone Projects also saw significant progress throughout, with the kids finalising their ideas and showcasing everything they’ve learned.
Likely the highlight of the week was our big excursion to London, where the kids toured the numerous sights along the River Thames as led by our expert counsellors. After pausing too many times for ice creams and photos, we finally made it to the world-renowned London Eye. Soaring above the city, the kids sang along to karaoke and posed in front of the breath-taking views.
As we approach graduation, the excitement is mixed with sadness and nostalgia. Although we know they will miss us, after looking back at all the memories we’ve made, we’re sure that we will miss them even more. We know they’ll go on to achieve amazing things, and we wish them all the best going forward.
