What a week it’s been at Bucksmore St Hilda’s! From castles to cold water challenges, we’ve packed in learning, exploring, and a ton of fun.
We eased into Tuesday with a chilled “Lazy Tuesday” – laundry, project work, and some free time around Oxford. In the evening, students took on a scavenger hunt across the college grounds, decoding clues and racing to win.
Wednesday mixed academics with culture: classes in the morning, then a trip to the Ashmolean Museum. After dinner, we hit the park for a mix of football, basketball, and general running-about chaos.
Thursday took us on a royal adventure to Windsor. Students toured Windsor Castle, explored the historic town, and fit in some shopping and sunshine.
Friday was all about brainpower with classes, essay prep, and masterclasses to build academic confidence.
Saturday morning meant more study time and an inspiring lecture from an Oxford professor. But Saturday night brought chaos – Counsellor Court returned! Students accused staff of “crimes,” spun a wheel, and dished out punishments like cold water, beans, and marmite. Messy, but hilarious.
On Sunday, we headed to London to visit Kensington Palace, the Natural History Museum, and shop at Battersea Power Station.
It’s been a packed week full of learning, laughs, and memories – a wonderful way to round out the course.
