Bringing a wealth of experience in education and leadership, Charlie will lead Bucksmore into its next chapter, continuing our commitment to providing exceptional academic and cultural experiences for students worldwide.

Meet Our New Director
Hi everyone — I’m Charlie Tweddle, and I’m really pleased to be joining as the new Managing Director of Bucksmore Education.
Having over 25 years’ experience in the Education Travel Industry in operational, commercial and leadership roles; I’ve been part of the Senior Management Team for numerous providers including Bell Education; EC English; BSC Education; BSC Young Learners and most recently ES Camps in Dubai.
I have led teams both in country and globally, successfully overseeing school design and launches; strategic planning & budgeting; product & portfolio creation; global portfolio expansion; brand launches and most recently the rebuild and successful preparation for the accreditation of ES Camps UK.
I’m passionate about creating an inclusive, solutions focused environment with communication and collaboration at its heart enabling our team to thrive — especially in multicultural, international settings like ours.
My goal is to support you all in delivering a safe, fun, and genuinely enriching experience for every learner we welcome.
Outside of work, my young family keep me very grounded with biking, hiking and cooking at the core of a busy family life.

Speedy Q&A with Charlie
As Bucksmore begins an exciting new chapter, we sat down with our new Managing Director, Charlie to learn more about their vision, experience and inspirations.
1. What have you first few days at Bucksmore been like?
Charlie: Excellent start to my journey with Bucksmore! Really great support, guidance and assistance – but clearly lots to learn as we head into the new sales and delivery cycle!
2. What excites you the most about working with Bucksmore’s partners, parents, and students around the world?
Charlie: Being able to guide, support and assist the great team, partners, parents and students with all interactions with our prestigious Bucksmore learning programmes.
3. If you could describe your vision for Bucksmore in one sentence, what would it be?
Charlie: The default Education provider of academic excellence for parents, students and partners.
4. And on a lighter note – when you’re not working, what’s one place you love to visit to unwind?
Charlie: Either on my stand-up paddleboard or hiking a mountain. Failing that, at home I drive the kitchen so you’ll often find me there!
