Activities at Pembroke!
In Pembroke College, we do fun activities every day. They are very different each day and all the students enjoy it. These activities are managed by Miss Charlie, who organises lots of fun and does her best to support us.
Furthermore, we do the activities in the Rockefeller room on campus, and sometimes in the quad. Mostly, the games are played in groups, and students can be pretty competitive, support each other, and other times its individual games where students can surpass themselves and try their best. Activities in Pembroke are not just about having fun, but bringing the students closer together, and learning about others, about different cultures. Moreover, counsellors sometimes play with us, and that makes the games even funnier.
Usually, activities are in the evening, at 8pm and all of the students must be in the place previously written on the whiteboard, on time. We have already played several games, such as rock paper scissors, splat, ninjas etc. At the beginning of every week, presentation games are being played to know the new students more, about their country and about their personality.
All the students enjoy these games and wait for the next activity each day, we are excited to know more about each other. In this part of the day, students can have fun and relax after a full academic day.
