About the college
Brasenose College enjoys the best location of any Oxford University College with the entrance to the Old Quad on Radcliffe Square next to the Bodleian Library. Brasenose College was founded in 1509 and over the years it has been home to many famous students from William Golding to former British Prime Minister, David Cameron.
Bucksmore bedrooms and classrooms are located in Frewin Court, a minute’s walk from Cornmarket Street, Oxford’s busiest shopping area, whilst meals are taken in Old Court, next to the world-famous Radcliffe Camera.
A grand hall used for one of the most memorable and unique parts of the Advanced Studies Programme: the Formal Hall is a traditional and popular part of College life where students celebrate their graduation with a three course candlelit dinner.
A social space at Frewin Court, is used for on-site quizzes, talent shows and casino nights. Students are also able to use this space for socialising in between periods on the activity programme.
