Bucksmore London’s theatrical week
It’s the final week of Bucksmore London and as ever we have had a busy week of activities and adventures in and around the capital. In week 4, so far there have been two stand out events: The Lion King Musical and Bucksmore’s 40thbirthday party at Plumpton.
On Wednesday evening we ventured to the Lyceum Theatre where we once again had the pleasure of seeing a musical. This time it was The Lion King, a much loved and well known story that most international students would be familiar with. It was a popular choice and received very positive reviews from the students, even for those who had seen it two or three times prior. With outstanding music, choreography and staging it was a wonderful experience to see such an imaginative and riveting production. Some students were treated to an ice cream during intermission for completing a scavenger hunt at the British Museum, which was visited earlier in the day.
We hope that all the students at King’s College London have enjoyed their summer with us as much as we’ve enjoyed hosting them. We have been overwhelmed by the positive response from students during the course and we hope to see some returnees next year!
