Bucksmore Tonbridge surrounded by knowledge
At Bucksmore Tonbridge the ball of the Business Week has just been set rolling, and our Young Leaders are already busy stocking up on succulent tidbits of knowledge that are sure to give them an edge over their peers back home.
Against a breathtaking backdrop of Gothic arches and mediaeval architecture reminiscent of young wizards and magical creatures, teenagers coming from 20 different countries and equipped with far more polished language skills than average will be dipping their toes, among others, into Marketing Strategy, P.E.S.T Analysis and Rebranding. New for this year, they will even have a chance to give their presentations inside the National Gallery, the very museum they will have been working on throughout the week. I would be surprised if the museum staff do not listen in to catch a preview of the next generation’s Weltanschauungin the making.
Alongside the Theory Lessons, students on the Young Leaders programme are challenged to think outside of the box and improve their teamwork and problem-solving skills. Today, they were put to the ultimate test of the “Human Knot”, which some of the groups nearly managed to untangle with their eyes closed. Judging from the efforts they have put in so far, they certainly are living up to the name of the programme. As part of Bucksmore, we feel proud and privileged to be able to leave a mark in these inspirational young people’s lives.
