Key Facts

Our Online English Booster Programme can begin at any time and is structured around your schedule and individual needs.
Each of our online booster courses focuses on developing one of your academic English skills, such as listening, speaking, reading or writing. Your offer of a place may be conditional on you taking part in one or more of these courses.
During the course, you will develop both a physical and online academic portfolio which you will carry with you on to your chosen academic programme. This will include samples of oral and written work, extended assignments, feedback on weekly tasks and performance as well as grades.

Welfare
Every Bucksmore location has a residential management team, and a minimum staff-student ratio of 1:7. There is always a trained first aider on-site, and students are supervised 24 hours a day.
Airport Transfers
Bucksmore offers a complimentary airport transfer service on transfer days for flights arriving/departing between 10:00 and 20:00. We can also provide an Unaccompanied Minor service for pick-up and drop-off. Students are looked after from when they land to when their flight departs.
Staff
Each location has a Centre Manager, Activity Manager and Director of Studies available for all students to approach with any problems. Bucksmore Counsellors are more than just teachers; they provide a high level of care and guidance for all students. All staff are background checked.
Pastoral Care
High staff to student ratios ensure all students are looked after. Bucksmore summer schools strive to create a warm and welcoming “family atmosphere” where all students and Counsellors know each other well.
