English Language Home Tuition (All ages) Learn in the comfort of your tutor's home,
in the UK and Ireland.
Home tuition is a unique opportunity to live and learn in the home of a professional English teacher, benefiting from one-to-one personalised lessons in a comfortable and relaxed environment.
What is Home Tuition?
On a home tuition course you benefit from one-to-one lessons in the relaxed and immersive environment of the teacher’s home, and you have your own private room there too.
You help define your learning pathway by discussing your needs and objectives before you arrive. Your teacher will then build a bespoke programme for you to follow during your stay.
All Bucksmore programmes include excursions to local places of interest.
Bucksmore Home Tuition (formerly Bucksmore Homelingua) has welcomed students for over 20 years, and is a member of EnglishUK.

Qualified teachers.
The right experience
We ask that our teachers have an English teaching qualification such as the University of Cambridge (CELTA) or Trinity College (TESOL) qualification. For school teachers, we request a postgraduate teaching qualification – either a PGCE in the UK or PGDE in Ireland.
