English
Our bespoke English language curriculum focuses on providing the knowledge, skills and confidence for students to communicate effectively both on and off the field. Content will cover language needed for day-to-day life on the camp and training sessions so students are able to use their language immediately and communicate with international teammates and coaches, as well as learn about key elements of football such as nutrition, and strength and conditioning.
Additionally, upon arrival, students will be assessed on their ability and allocated to a class according to their level, as well as an exit test at the end of each week to track their progress.
Football
The coaching curriculum is designed and delivered by Inter Milan Academy, a direct extension of Italian professional football club Inter Milan's Youth Sector. The goal of the "Inter Academy" training is to provide theoretical and practical skills so that each student is able to learn in an effective and rational way. It is a program of the transfer of the technical "know-how" provided by the coaches of F.C. International, based on the Inter Youth Sector training program. Throughout training, coaches will focus on 5 key areas of development that will help build
players into champions:
- Physical-Coordinative Area
- Technical-Tactical Area
- Social Area
- Psychological-Motivational Area
- Medical Area
At the end of each week, students will take part in a tournament to put their newly developed skills into action!
Throughout the week, coaches will observe every student to award two Inter Milan shirts, signed by Inter Milan players themselves! The awards will be for the player of the week and for the player who best demonstrates the core values as mentioned above.
Workshops
Students will attend 2 football workshops per week delivered by the Inter Academy coaches that focus on such topics as:
- The history of Inter Milan
- Football tactics and philosophies
- What makes great players great
- What it takes to be a professional footballer
Projects
Students will also learn about the key elements of football through a project based learning approach focusing on areas such as:
- Food & Nutrition
- Injury prevention
- Sports performance
- Player attributes
- Stadium design
Learning Outcomes
- Develop main key language skills: speaking, listening, reading and writing, as well as lexical resource, grammatical structures and pronunciation
- Build confidence in communicating in English and using English in authentic situations
- Improve knowledge of sports performance and vocabulary and how to express yourself on the pitch in English
- Develop and improve technical, tactical, physical and mental football skills through Inter Academy coaching
Students will leave this programme with a full English language progress report and Inter Academy certificate of attendance.

Course Venue
King Edward's School
King Edward’s School is a prestigious boarding school founded by King Edward VI in 1553. Located in Witley, Surrey, the school has excellent on-site facilities including modern classrooms with smart boards, a dance studio, and all-weather pitches across the 100-acre site.
Students will live and learn on-site, making full use of all of the facilities throughout their stay. The endless outdoor space here makes it the perfect environment for players to improve their football skills!
