History
Plumpton College is an agricultural school dating back to 1919.
During the Second World War, Plumpton was used to train recruits to the Women’s Land Army, before being sent to farms throughout the country. As a result, the College received a large amount of investment after the end of the war, in order to expand and improve its accommodation and facilities.
In the last ten years, Plumpton College has once again expanded significantly, building an animal care centre, winery, workshop facilities, library and extensions and renovations to the main building and accommodation blocks.
