‘Alice in Wonderland’ and exciting adventures

Last week kicked off with an exciting and innovative murder mystery adventure. Lewis Carroll’s ‘Alice in Wonderland’ found its roots in this beautiful city of dreaming spires – but now the White Rabbit has been murdered and students had to discover the culprit! An afternoon of fun ensued where the students interrogated a terrifying Queen of Hearts, a creepy Mad Hatter, the slightly loopy Cheshire Cat and innocent little Alice herself. About half of the groups solved the mystery, condemning Alice for her wicked murder!

The evening Olympics also proved a hit, giving everyone a chance to demonstrate their prowess in a range of Olympic sports!

As well as exciting program of evening events, this week’s excursions have been much enjoyed. A trip to the Roman Baths opened the student’s eyes to one of the best persevered ancient roman sites, whilst their free time in Bath made for a lovely afternoon, complete with afternoon tea, ice cream and time for shopping in Bath’s array of lovely little shops.

The students and counsellors alike enjoyed a full-day trip to Brighton where they had great fun by the sea side and tasted fish and chips too!
