The first two week session of the Bucksmore Oxford Advanced Studies Programme ended successfully this past weekend with a formal graduation dinner in the Brasenose Dining Hall, at which the students were addressed by the Course Director James Goodman-Eastwood. Among things mentioned was the way in which the students had disported themselves during the intensive tuorial regime, the different workshops, and the activities and excursions. The Oxford tutors all commented not only on the academic quality the students brought to each tutorial, but on their enthusiasm, courtesy and maturity. This was the comment too from the Bucksmore staff, and indeed the staff at Brasenose College. The programme could not have been run and executed as successfully as it was without the impressive collective input from the visiting students. It is hoped that they will have benefited from their sojourn in Oxford, and all at Bucksmore wish them every future success.
