Pizza making and Harry Potter with defence against the dark arts!

What a jam packed week so far at King Ed’s! Saturday afternoon and it’s pizza-making time! On Sunday we went to an ice-skating disco to show off our sometimes wobbly moves, then it was back home for a Harry Potter themed activity, with defence against the dark arts, potions and care of magical creatures lessons on the cards: school has never been so fun!

On Monday we played sports and were set a special movie making task by Mr Bert. At night, the drama continued when Adam was kidnapped by the mysterious Dr. Evil! Luckily the King Ed’s students mobilised their forces and followed the clues to bring Adam and his green Crocs back to safety. Then we graduated in style with a casino night in the Blue Room.

Tuesday was the day of Mr. Piotr’s magical village fete at King Ed’s, with enough activities to keep the students busy for hours. Then it was off to London on Wednesday. We saw all the sights and ended our tour in the London Dungeon! But don’t worry, we managed to escape the dungeons in one piece.

Thursday night was a perfect night for a Wimbledon tournament, with Angry Bird target practice and a few games of crazy team tennis, not forgetting the all-important strawberries and cream!

It’s off to Thorpe Park for some and Legoland for others today, then it’s going to be a relaxing evening playing Family Fortunes with our amazing Bucksmore family!
