On Tuesday our Junior program went on a trip to London for a royalty tour and even managed go on the London Eye! The trip began with a walk around Trafalgar Square with lots of photo opportunities, the students then went on to walk up the Mall towards Buckingham palace.
Before getting there they all stopped for a tasty lunch in the sunny Saint James’ Park with ice cream for dessert!
The students stopped to take photos of Buckingham Palace and listened to the many interesting stories and tales about the historic building before setting off again to see Parliament Square, the Houses of Parliament and then 10 Downing Street. The tour finished off with a view of the famous horse guard parade! For the students, the sight of seeing horses in a city like London was most definitely one they will not forget!
Once the tour ended the group then went on the London eye, the sun was shining and it was the perfect weather to appreciate the sights of London! It was truly a fantastic day for all involved!
