St Hilda’s First Week of Academics
The first day of the academic week at St. Hilda’s started on Wednesday morning with the students sitting for their placement tests. In the next two lessons they had the opportunity to engage in conversation with their peers in a variety of get-to-know you tasks.
On Thursday, the students were placed in their classes. They were introduced to key facts and important information about the city that harmonically combines its past with its present. Before leaving for London, they discussed about the architecture of the city and the sites that we would visit. They learned new vocabulary with regard to the exhibits displayed at the Natural History Museum.
On Friday, we took the students outdoors for the project preparation. It was a lovely day and they enjoyed the process. Colourful papers, scissors, glue and a lot of enthusiasm were placed on the lawn of our premises.
The results of the Bucksmore President elections remains to be revealed at the project presentation.
