Arrivals and departures
Bucksmore offers a complimentary transfer service to students arriving at major UK airports between 10am and 8pm. If you require this service, please ensure we have your flight details at least 1 week before your arrival date by filling out and sending us the Transfer Request form.
Private transfers
If you arrive or depart outside of the complimentary transfer time, or to an airport not available at your venue, then a private transfer fee will apply.
Airport arrivals
When you arrive at the airport a Bucksmore Counsellor will wait for you at arrivals. The Counsellor will be wearing our distinctive dark red Bucksmore polo shirt and will be holding a Bucksmore branded sign with your name clearly written on it.
Airports are busy places and students coming through arrivals on their own after a long flight can be a little disorientated. Don’t panic if you can’t find a staff member at first. Make sure you look for someone wearing a dark red Bucksmore shirt holding a sign with our name on!
Further information on arrivals can be found in our pre-arrival guides and contact numbers for arrivals and for the duration of the summer can all be found on our Summer 2023 page.
Airport departures
On departure, you will be accompanied by a Bucksmore representative to the airport and assisted with check-in.
Bucksmore will ensure all students arrive to the airport in good time to make sure the check-in process is as smooth and efficient as possible.
Unaccompanied Minors
No transfer required
If you are planning on arriving to the venue independently, please inform us of your expected arrival time, as well as the person accompanying you at least 1 week before your arrival date. There is no fixed arrival time as we are happy for you to arrive at any time that suits you, however we do suggest arriving between 1pm and 5pm so that you can settle in and have dinner with your new peers. There will always be a member of the Bucksmore team available to meet you at the venue on arrival days.
