Our very special English Summer Camp
This course is designed for motivated students who want more than just English language tuition from their summer. With a focus on the creative arts, students have the opportunity to develop their skills through practical workshops that encourage imagination, expressions, and collaboration.
The creative arts workshops play a significant role in developing a child's creativity, confidence, coordination, language and communication skills - helping students to thrive not only in education but also in their future endeavours. Alongside the arts programme, students improve their English through academic tutorials, group projects, conversations classes, and cultural excursions that bring learning to life.
Each week offers a new specialism, taught by experienced practitioners, for example:
- Art - drawing, painting, sculpting, and mixed media, showcased in a final exhibition
- Dance - contemporary, hip-hop, ballet, and jazz, performed in a live showcase
- Drama - acting, improvisation, and stagecraft, culminating in a theatre performance
- Music - instrumental skills, contemporary styles, and band collaboration, ending with a concert
Beyond arts and language skills, the course builds interpersonal abilities such as teamwork, creativity, and confidence through project-based learning and mentorship.
Student progress is carefully tracked and assessed at the end of each course by the Bucksmore Assessment, an bespoke evaluation tool aligned with the Common European Framework of Reference (CEFR) scale.

Our Students

My favourite part of the program were the activities and the project. They were both organised and well-structured, as well as immensely engaging. I adored the program at OIC Brighton and would love to experience it again.

What I like best about the lessons is the small size of the classes. It feels really private and comfortable. We learn faster than we would ever do in bigger classes.
Your home from home
You’ll be staying in OIC Brighton, a beautiful, green and leafy private campus, with all meals and accommodation, classrooms and activities in the same place. OIC Brighton is a 10-minute coach ride from Brighton and we often take your child there on excursions.
